F 5.6, 1/60 sec, Tamron 18-270 @ 105mm. My oldest daughter Guadalupe telling a history to the youngest, Amparo. A lovely moment that I could capture with my camera.

Thanks! Laureen, Dave and Vince. I love taking photos to my children, but usually I don't like the results. When I catch my daughters in that moments, I was praying for a good photo, and this one likes me.
Thanks!!

Tomas, if this picture does not receive a WINNER then there is something wrong with the way pictures are judged on BP.

I agree with vinnie. There is something to be said here, people who can a photo and have it turn out this beautiful and the photo has not been photoshopped, should definitely be a winner. This is definitely a winner! Your wife probably cried when she saw this because it is able to evoke emotions from people. Well done!

  Hey friends!!
You going to make me blush!! There are a lot of fantastic photos here in BP, and the people category is very hard. But if you like this photo, that's the real prize.
Sandi: my wife cried, but that isn't a rare situation, she use to cry, specially when it's about her children!!
Thank you my friends!!

And Sandi:I'm ashamed, because I worked this photo in PS, I touched the contrast and brightness, for highlight the window light.

Tomas, let me set the record straight here okay. About 90% of all the WINNERS are Photoshoped, this capture is heart warming and set at such a natural state. It looks so very natural and loving. This deserves a WINNER. If not I will be very unhappy with BP.

  Thank you Vince!!
If you say that it's a honor for me. And I hope Sandi will forgive me this fall, because she is a very good photographer, but a better person. Isn't it Sandi? :)

  Tomas,
Vinie is right as usual, ; ). I too tweak my photos in PS. And I have to tell the truth I am always trying to learn more about photoshop. I love your picture. Sometimes I am upset when I see photos as beautiful as this and they don't win in the photo contest. I feel it is hard to compete in the contest against photos that are layered and totally redone from the original. But enough said, I think this photo is amazing, it could not be any more perfect than this. It makes it even better when you know the photographer and know it is his family. I'm sure this photo is a family treasure!

Thank you Sandi!! You and Vince are the soul of this club, and your positive spirit, and permanent support is fantastic.
About this photo, I'll appoint you and Vince my own judges, because the real BP judges even gave me an EP... ...snif, but with your support and good opinion, I have everything I could want.
Thank you!!!

Tomas, Lo felicito ya que el mejor primio lo tiene en su familia. Gracias por compartir un momento tan tierno y privado. La luz es lo que le da tanta calidez al momento.

Tomas, I am still in a state of shock that all this picture receives from BP is an EP. I just can't get over this.

Vince, aprently this photo was skipped by the judges last month, because it didn´t received a EP, but I presented it again this month, and the EP came as soon as I presented it.
Thank you for your support!

Tomas

  Tomas,

This is a beautiful composition of
family love via your two wonderful
daughters. I liked how you were able to
capture the soft light from the window.
A very heart-filled image.
