Lake Chelan Winterfest
Chelan, Washington, every year about the middle of January hosts Winterfest, and on a Saturday evening they shoot off fireworks after they start the Christmas tree bonfire on the beach (visible on the right hand side of the photo) and have the polar bear plunge into Lake Chelan. This image was captured with a tripod at the edge of Lake Chelan supporting a homemade panoramic nodal bracket holding the DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera with vertical grip vertically set at ISO 400 and f/9 using a wide-angle zoom lens (12 to 24). Entered into the “Nature & Landscapes” category. GPS: Approximate location, latitude 47° 50' 39.23" N, longitude 120° 1' 38.40" W. Keywords: Landscape, Night, and USA.
