Clear Cosmos
Clear Cosmos

A Rose Is A Rose, Is A Rose,
Until One Stands Out, I suppose.

A Star Is A Star, Is A Star,
Looking So Much Alike From Afar.

If We Stood In A Crowd Would We Also Find,
The Same Could Be Said Of The Human Kind?

Is It Not Until We Look To The Heart
We Can Even Tell Each Other Apart?

Clear Scents, Clear Cosmos, Clear Vision, Clear Sky.
I'm So Delighted We Are "You" and "I".

-Laura Swan

Beautiful floral image, with wonderful light and shadows, Pom. Cosmos always look so pretty swaying in the breeze.

An equally lovely poem, making the point about how special individuals are. Thanks for the reminder!

Mare, Thank you! :))) I love the Cosmos Flower. I see you do, too!

It's 4:36 am here and it's way past my bedtime. But it's great to be here with all of you right now. I've missed you lots! When I wrote the poem I had you all in my heart.

Night night and Thank You All Again!

Hi Gord, Neal, Mumj, Avril, Michelle, Monnie, John and Kathy! :))

Thank you all so much! You know, I have noticed with the fract filter if we select one or more item to be excluded from any filtering, it almost appears 3D! :))) The same results we often find with selective focusing. I think the more proper terminology would be 2D...but at any rate that is what I think makes these types of images work and makes them special. It's a fun project! I actually made this image a while ago when I still had my old lap top and had the fract filter operational. I miss it so much and must get it installed again soon.

So good to see you all! Thanks again!

Hi Shelly!! Hi Karen!! Hi Terry!!

I'm so pleased you like this one and my poem, too, Ladies. :))) (Sis, do you really think I should make a book???)

Terry...I highly recommend it!!! Start out using an image with a lot of wood in it! They turn out really great. Cats and birds do, too, if they are closeups.

Thanks again!
-Laura :))

Hi Sister Kalena, Doug, Steve, Chris, Jo Ann and Miss NN Kitty!

All of my talented friends are showing up! So great to see you all here!

Do you know when I see your names pop up I also see your work in my heart?! We ARE our work! How cool is that?! It's like giving birth each time we click the shutter or alter in DDR! It's all a part of us and what I was trying to say in my poem.

Some call it, "Seeing the world through the photographers eye"...All true!

Thanks so much for all that you said and for being part of my world.

-Laura :)

Boy YOU'RE not kiddin' Sis! Lol...I wish we all lived close by. What tea parties we'd have! Lol...AND I WOULD INSIST YOU BROUGHT YOUR MOM AND HER Butter Cream Frosting CAKES! Lol...

HEY! Did I tell you that our local Safeway makes KEY LIME PIE now? Mmmm! My favorite! And it tastes even better than it did when I tried it in KEY WEST Florida!!! So even FOOD can make the world feel smaller...but still doesn't help us live closer! Boo Hoo!

Good to see you! :))) xo
