This is my niece Tylah, with her new best friend. A new name hasn't been decided on yet, it's a very important decision!!! Lens aperture f/9, shutter speed 1/320sec, focal length 35mm, ISO-800.

Yes, a name for a lifetime friend IS important, Chris!
I'm sure this sweet photo will become a very special memento of that friendship's beginning.
Hope you and yours had a lovely Christmas, and that your New Year will be thoroughly happy!

There's nothing like friendship between a girl and her horse.
I know - I had one for 25 years.
And this is such a wonderful photo of the two, Chris. I'm so happy for your niece.
I wish you and your family all the best for the new year.

Oh....how wonderful....beautiful innocent capture! I'm in the category where one of the first books I received as gift was "Black Beauty" and have been hooked on horses since. Never had one....only in my heart....How wonderful for your niece....You'll have to let us know when the decision is made on a name...Have a wonderul New Year!! =^..^=

Thank you all so much for the comments. Her name has been changed to Arley, from Carley (a cousin's name)it was less of an effort for her to get use to. She knows my car after only looking after her for 3 weeks, she calls out when I drive in & comes to the car when I call her name. Animals know suckers miles off......
