Photo taken Nov 27, 2011 in early afternoon under cloudy skies. f/11 1/25 ISO 200 with a Pentax K5, Tripod and Shutter Cable Release. Only males of this species (Anthocharis caradmines) have orange wingtips. The females are white with greenish wings to serve as camouflage. Category: Animals.
