The Birds
The seagulls that were in yesterday's photo have now “flew the coop”, but the blackbirds are still here and the flock keeps growing. It’s huge! And it is so impressive to watch them fly, all moving and turning in unison, against the glowing evening sky. Poetry in motion. And something mankind can learn much from.Quote of the Day: “The black crow thinketh her own birds white” ~ Gavin Douglas (1474 – 1522. Scottish Bishop) Nikon D700, 50 – 500 mm Sigma APO/DG/HSM f/4.0 – 6.3 Zoom @ 400 mm. f/13, 1/640 second exposure. ISO 400 (10/25/2011 6:18 PM)
