It's definitely an outstanding capture, Val. The exquisite beauty is displayed here with superb symmetry and grace. Love the way this butterfly basks with its wings spread to display the elegant markings and design. Mother Nature certainly does it best as far as "treats" are concerned whether it's Halloween or anytime of the year.

Hi Val!!! Well of course I am here stumbling into the side door a little late (November!) and I thought, "Well GEE! The MT is "LET'S EAT"...YUCK!" But in a slow trot behind I remembered LAST months MT was TRICK OR TREAT! (Whew!) :D This beauty, to ME, looks like a carved pumpkin. And I LOVE that it has a shadow that we can see. Does that mean that WINTER will come early? I can never keep up with that Farmers Almanac stuff. HA! Beautiful image no matter what and I hope the Judges say, "HEY! LET'S GIVE HER THE GOLD FOR ORIGINALITY ALONG SIDE OF GREAT TALENT!" Hugs from the LOTW !
