Morning Glow
The patches of moss on Battle Rock seemed to be glowing yellow in the dim morning light, while the sky was a growing yellow glow. Yellow always seems like such a positive, uplifting color. A color with a hidden promise. A color for the morning. And these yellows seemed to compliment the earthy browns in the kelp, sand, and rock… and the tranquil greens in the trees and beach grass. It was certainly an enjoyable place and time to watch the day begin!“I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide, Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied.” ~John Masefield Nikon D700, 20 mm f/2.8D Lens @ f/3.5, 1/50 second exposure. ISO 400 (9/29/2011, 6:57 AM. Battle Rock, Port Orford, Oregon, USA.)

You never fail to present a unique coastal shot...and ever so beautiful. And I agree about the yellow...SO MUCH more beautiful (in my view) than orange. This quotation was the theme of my high school yearbook, so many hundreds of years ago, it seems.
