Bison Trio
Bison Trio
D90 Tamron 18-270@200mm ISO800 F6.3 SS1/1000
Captured this trio in the Lamar Valley of NE YS.
The calf is only about a month old. Born out of season by about 3 months its chances of surviving the Brutal winter are almost zero. If not the weather the wolves we saw in the area are almost certain to get it.
HAD A GREAT TRIP and should be editing till Christmas at least.

Glad your back safe and sound, and had agreat trip!
Beautiful wildlife capture. We get fawns here in the fall sometimes, and same thing, hardly no chance of survival, easy picking for the coyotes.

Great wildlife capture but feel sorry for the calf, Jack! The wolves have to eat though too.
