The Rockies @ Bow Lake
BANFF NATIONAL PARK
Canada, Alberta.Taken July 29th, 2011 Ground Level Here Is About 4,000 Feet In This Area...
***SO THE WEATHER CAN CHANGE MIGHTY FAST!*** A few minutes after I shot this, the wind picked up pretty badly and the rain came down cold and sideways. You might see the wind in a few of the trees and bushes here? (West to East). Burrr! It got Cold!
(I love it in the Rockies no matter what the weather, however! A person feels so alive there!)

I managed to have some wildlife fun
once it rained out and I had to re-treat to the safety of the truck. This shot was taken down the road a little and would have been a better image had I not freaked out a little as this LARGE bird flew RIGHT at my waiting offering so fast!
I never had time to set it on macro and focus! HA!
(He just came right at me from that post back there -QUICK-!!!)
