Nice catch

Tammy NOW I LOVE THE OUT OF DOORS and the being out in the woods is GREAT. It's just that at the end of the day the GROUND is not where I want to be sleeping. These folks are carrying for more than a DAY HIKE .. BUT TO EACH HIS OWN.

HAPPY TRAILS

I am with you all the way on the hiking issue Tammy. As far as going down into the canyon I prefer the mules LOL.

Very cool capture, Tammy. I agree with Jack though, those back packs are WAY too big for just a day hike, and I haven't camped out in years, now that I think about it, I kind of miss it...but my back doesn't!!

Well I'm with you Tammy. I love hiking and love finding and exploring out of the way places. Love the way you framed the hikers as they walk one behind the other on the narrow trail. So colorful with the different colors of the backpacks and outfits. Looks like alot of fun to me my friend. Beautiful work.
Have yourself a wonderful day.

Great capture of the hikers, Tammy! I agree about the hiking and exploring...fun!...but no camping here, unless there is water nearby. People poke fun that I am the cleanest camper...too fussy and spoiled to a bath and fresh, neatly folded clothes...ridiculous :)

Great composition in this and the sense of the weight of each pack gives some drama of the work ahead!

I'm glad you enjoy this!

LOL @ the great comments. Thanks Guys. We met a group of hikers from Tennesse hiking down this this trail to camp for two nights. The youngest was 50 and the oldest fella was 79! No ride for them back up either.

Love a good day hike, when I only need my camera, don't think I want to take a backpack with me. Love your image though, and perfect for the MT...

This is perfect for the MT. I think hiking is always part of the summer repertoire. Love your perspective from behind. It appears they have a lot of gear so this appears to be more than a day hike.

Awesome march, love the way they are all lined up with the colorful backpacks, looks like an excited bunch though with aching backs and muscles. But I agree it's the fun of the experience that counts especially when you look back afterwards. Nice capture Tammy.

If this color-full band of hikers signed up for the "adventure", then, of course, they're going to have fun --- reminiscing about all the spectacular views, and all the laughs they shared on the trip.
"Selective retention" will enable the group to forget the heat, the bugs, the blisters...kinda like a new mother a month after delivery...
Cool pov in this shot, Tammy!

Great capture, Tammy! (I guess it depends when you are asking if I would consider hiking/camping with the big packs "fun" or not?!?! While I love to see everything, and I think hiking and being immersed in the setting is the best way to experience it,there is definitely something to be said for coming back to electricity, running water, and a soft bed at the end of the day, LOL!)
