And she looks as though she is not happy at all (surely a momentary sentiment) Yuck...not so nice to have sand in your clothes on a hot day. Wonderful capture, Patricia.

Wonderful capture! But, OMG what a start to a wonderful life!!!!!! The groom was where--having a cold one! Life is so funny -- as a great photographer (teacher) once told me --always have your camera ready! You did!

Thank you all. Yes, she did not appear happy. When she did turn to look my way, she wasn't smiling. There were some wedding "guests" nearby. I asked them where her husband was. They told me he was in the parking lot loading the wedding chairs into the vehicle. Still, I think he or others should have handled this arch! And Sharon, I agree with your teacher. I was telling my husband that very thing yesterday. I said you never know what you'll come across and I was so happy to have had my camera when I saw this scene. I went running along with her so I could continue snapping away. :-)

Gone is old-fashioned chivalry. How sad that no one... even strangers... offered to help. And her "guests"... Shame on them! This picture says a thousand words. ~♥~Lisa
