Oh my,what a beautiful photo -- The expressions, focus and composition are all perfect. I am actually viewing this from a labor and delivery room where we are awaiting the birth of our first grandchild -- what we wouldn't give for a keepsake like this! Thank you SO much everyone!! And thank you for the second place win! I'm very excited! This is one of my favorite images I've ever taken. My dear friend gave birth last month and did it naturally- surrounded by her sister, her best friend, her doula, her nurse, midwife and husband. I was SO grateful to be a part of it. I love photography and images that TELL a story - that show and capture emotion. Mommy hadn't seen the baby yet and you can tell from her expression here that she's like, "Let me get my hands on him!!" And everyone clapping in pure joy as they were introduced for the first time. And the baby - with eyes looking straight to Heaven. Sigh. Love. Thanks again!!
