Such a beautiful flower. So enjoy how the petals are reaching up. The black background makes the colors even more dazzling, I love the details so sharp and clear, especially the fuzz on the green part of the flower. Gorgeous textures to. Another amazing macro, Mike! (I have that flash you use but never used a flash with my macros. Would like to try and find all those parts that you hooked your flash to)

Thanks! The flash/diffuser has improved my macro shots greatly. The black background is due to nothing in the background to reflect light back. With the manual settings I am using, that is what my entire shot looks like if the flash does not fire. :-) Mike
