Dale, I saw this in the Designing Eye club and you did a fabulous job on the crop and old-time tinting of the image!
I think the cook went that-a-way!

He went that-a-way Joannie? Thanks, gotta catch him 'cause I'm hungry. Thank you for the nice comment.

Fantastic vintage shot Dale and I can relate to this guy as I grapple with aging too. I've just recently retired last May 1, and trying to get used to retired life. After working for more than 30 years, I decided to call it quits and enjoy while I'm still young (only 57). It feels like I'm still on vacation though, which is good. I have not visited Venice Beach since we did the photo shoot together. I thought we had some great shots from that outing. I see you even got a winning image from the Acrobat but perhaps from a different time. Take care Dale.

Thanks Reynaldo. That image was taken at the same time. I haven't visited there either though I've talked about it countless times. Couldn't get anyone to go with me.

Excellent DD work on this tin type antique vintage photo. Loved the title.

Thanks Emile. I really enjoy the process of "antiquing" an image. I've developed a number of different methods that I like but am always looking for new ways.

What inspired me to do this was a large print of a bicycle race in France, that I saw in the lobby of a local Mimi's restaurant. One of my most successful results was of a country lane in New Zealand and I can't remember how I did it! Bummer.
