Just beautiful, Kerry. The silhouette of the tree is wonderful. I like how you can still see the shape of the bark, even though it is dark. The colors of the sky and the sun sinking under the cloud bank make this a great composition.

Thanks Nancy! Some of the color was probably enhanced by smoke from the New mexico and Arizona fires. It was a beautiful sunset.

Nancy Marie has said pretty much what I'm thinking. Isn't it amazing how big an impact on colors are air condition components like rain, humidity, smoke... ? You did a wonderful job capturing the rich colors and light of this sunset without having the sun itself 'blowing out.'
