The poor baby can't see out of one eye. Can fly OK but is not all that good at landing, comes every night & morning for something to eat & talks the whole time. Lens aperture f/4.5, shutter speed 1/60sec, focal length 10mm, ISO 320. Taken with Sony DSC_H70

Oh my...you should introduce him to Brett's little wattlebird! What a wonderful little kookaburra! Brett's story about the Little Red Wattlebird debuts on my blog tonight! Is there a story here too?

Hi Michelle, no, there's no story that I know of. I just noticed one of the babies was clumsy when landing & then didn't always catch the food thrown to it. After awhile I noticed it didn't always know I was there if I was on the left side.

A delightful close up portrait of this beautiful young bird, Chris! I reckon he needs a helping hand, and I don't think he could have picked a better place to make friends and visit!
