I took this in 2009. We were touring a charming small town, rich in history and unusual photo ops but it was this adorable kitten that captivated the kids I took to France that year.

Love the red frame behind the kitty... somehow it seems to set off the image! I love kitties and would be fascinated too!

Oh, what wonderful textures throut...from the kitty's fur, to the concrete and stonework...and the colors are wonderful. The black of the window to the jolt of magenta window frame - lots of eye appeal and a wonderful capture, Nikki!

Excellent composition, Nikki - simple but so effective. This works on so many levels - Val said it best - love how the various elements contrast and compliment each other: the soft fur, the textured cement and stone, the red frame against the black. Everything comes together very successfully. Nice work!
