Reminds me of that old punny joke that ends with "People who live in grass houses shouldn't stow thrones!" :-D Fabulous scene, though -- the composition really shows it off and the colors and textures are perfect!

Well, I can't come up with another decent variation on the pun, so I'll just say dandy scenic, Marty, with the foreground rock leading to the snakey river leading to the towering cliffs leading to the beautiful sky beyond.

Framing and beautiful composition with amazing depth start the picture of this most beautiful place off. I love how you start behind the stone and then work up the shallow river as it snakes its way to the high cliffs. What a beautiful sky. Gorgeous colors, think wwe would all like to have been there with you my friend.

I love your eye...the perfect pov, Marty...the diagonal slash of the mountains, the meandering river, the splashes of goldenrod (I'm betting) for an extra dash of interest and color against the greens and browns and the lead-in of the "throne" topped off with a wonderfully blue and the fingers of clouds drifting by. Perfect!!

Your landscape work is of such high quality and so beautiful. Its seems that you spend alot of time setting up the shot to give us the best possible look. Extra effort in the setup always pays off with such beuatiful looks like this. The vertical framing gives us the since of the height and I just love the way you composed the picture with that rock in the foreground. Gorgeous colors, breath taking view, look at that gorgesous sky. A masterpeace my friend. Beautiful work.
