  Thanks! These are actually pretty easy with some practice. Barrel racing is also completely predictable so you can set up for a particular part of their run. I usually shoot at a high shutter speed when they're going around the barrels (although shooting at 20-30 when they're turning is pretty cool, too.) And, then I lower the shutter speed to about 20-30 and pan them when they are on their final run. Learned how to really do this in a class from Doug Steakley here at BP.com

  Thanks, Bob! Fun to see it there. These are really fun to shoot...other than that, if you're not competing or you don't have someone in the race..it's sort of tedious (don't tell the racers that!). I'd rather be cutting! But, all my cutting horses are lame! :-(
