OMG!! I just had a flashback!! HA! I sat at tables like this when I started in 1st grade. Well, not quite this old, but the style was the same.
What I wanna know right away - where's the exit-door? HEHE! Excellent captures of this old schoolroom, MSSSLala. Each of them should be entered!

Good Afternoon Tiia, Michelle, Mary, Monnie and SSSKiki!

HA! I was wondering how many MEMORY cords this one would pull! It sure has for me, too! We didn't have ink wells but we had the chalk boards and desks that were very similar. If I'd been thinking I would have gotten more pictures of the desk tops. Kids carved initials and words just like EVERY KIDS from EVERY AGE has. It was cute and made me wonder who those kids were, what they wore and if they were naughty or nice!

Hi John! Thank you! :) I came back to tell Kiki that there WERE NO EXITS. HA! Don't we all remember that well? NO ESCAPE! Not for YEARS!

The play yard is in that second image I posted. The horse carriage blocked it...but it does show that the kids got to have some fun.

So glad you guys are enjoying this one. it actually made me miss school as I stood in there. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was. The teachers were strict but I always felt loved. :) (USUALLY! Lol!)

I'm glad Michelle said it before I did! Yes, I do remember desks that almost looked like that in my elementary school days. Mine were free-standing but the rest looks more than familiar, especially the ink wells! Great capture and marvelous MT entry, Laura!

I didn't even know I was getting a Finalist! My computer has been off most of the day. We had a birthday party here today/tonight! What a shock and huge happy surprise this is!!!

What fun. I love HERITAGE PARK so much and as many of you say, it brings back such memories for several of us...while the rest of of dream of what it must have been like!

A few movies have been shot here at this Theme Park. Shanghi Noon (Stat studded Cast), Time after Time (Kevin Cosner) and Another with Brad Pitt some to mind...It's a MUST DO in CALGARY if a person is here a few days!

Leif and Kiki were to HERITAGE PARK with us and loved it, too!
