The Wabash River flows through the heartland of Indiana. In addition to being Indiana's official state river, the Wabash is also the longest free-flowing river east of the Mississippi. The song, On the Banks of the Wabash ,Far Away by Paul Dresser, was adopted as the Indiana state song by the Sixty-eighth Regular Session of the Indiana General Assembly on March 14, 1913.

Taken around 6:00 p.m. in West Lafayette, about 40 minutes earlier than my previous image at this location - which is actually called Tecumseh Trail, so I discovered!
