But in fact this is not a real HDR picture in the strick sense of the word.
I often take pictures of " a bit older " houses, doors, cars and process the RAW file once in photomatix tone mapping. With minor adjustments. I still want the picture to be real and not a painting. The advantage is that it looks often better then inreality.
Lyn you are more artistic then I. You should give it a try, if you haven't yet. The latest version of phtomatix is even better as it gives you some prresettings ( or templates) where you can see immediately the outcome.
