This is really well done Michelle.
I like the nice tight crop placing focus on her expression and the concentration she is showing. The dark BG isolates her and there is no question that she is the focus of your image. The light is very interesting too. Her face is well lit and soft. Very beautiful really. The backlighting creates a beautiful lighting effect on her hair. My one suggestion for next time would be to include all of her hand in the frame. I would like to see all of her fingers.

Hi Heather,
Thank you so much for your input. I never even thought of her hand, but you are right, it should all be there. Unfortunately, this is how it was taken in camera, so technically there are no fingers to add back in. I'll have to pay better attention next time!! :-)
