I know what you mean. That first car meant a lot. Mine was a VW bug! My sisters 1963 Rambler was so much fun. You had to hit the dashboard to get the radio to work and pump the gas pedal real fast to get it to catch! HA! After that, it sure would take off! Ron, I can't even imagine how much this would be. It sure was beautiful however. -Laura :)

Hey, Pom! This would fit in really well with "The Jetsons" series. FYI, "The show originally aired in the early '60's,...At the time of its debut, it was the first program ever to be broadcast in color on ABC-TV. " (Wikipedia) Since the show was set in 2062, your cool car would be a classic by then --- Jay Leno would be itching to outbid anyone to own it! Beautiful capture of this sleek machine.

You are so right, Dave, they are! Yes! I remember just being happy to have wheels, too! Dad bought my VW for 250.00 for my birthday. After that I cared for all the maintenance and upkeep. The motor blew about a year later. 800.00 for that and I learned fast how to change fuel filters and other things! :))) Spare wiper blades on board and carried a tool kit with clamps and clips for hoses, etc...HeeHee... NOTHING WAS GOING TO STOP ME! * Hi Sis! I took this photo years ago. I'd love to go back to MGM Florida and see if it is still there. Maybe there is some hover craft there now! HeeHee! Have wonderful days, all of you! Heading to the Calgary Zoo right now I think. Can't wait to get into the butterfly hut. I will think of my Dad and Mom there. -Lala :D
