Tammy M. Anderson 9/8/2010 3:23:43 AM LOL at the warning Bill. Outstanding capture, love it!! 9/8/2010 3:25:30 AM Jeff W. Robinson Great effort, perspective and capture Bill!! Stay Safe out there!! Jeff 9/8/2010 3:27:06 AM Great capture Bill, I love the movement of the train. The two stong images in the shot are quite interesting and appealing. Well done. 9/8/2010 3:39:08 AM A nice look at the train with the city buildings in the bg. Did you have a close call! 9/8/2010 3:44:23 AM Wonderful train image, Bill! Great sense of movement and excellent perspective! 9/8/2010 3:45:27 AM ...you brave photographer you....excellent capture Bill...perfect pov & comp...(that wasn't my win at the fair, just taking pics...but thanks!) 9/8/2010 4:02:07 AM Colors, comp & pov here Bill...Well seen and captured 9/8/2010 4:02:24 AM Terrific background for this beautiful engine, Bill -- but your description made me cringe. 9/8/2010 4:13:38 AM Well, you should get a badge for getting this gorgeous capture! I also got a little nervous reading your description! 9/8/2010 4:15:41 AM beautiful shot 9/8/2010 5:10:39 AM LOL! I did that once....I scared myself of how close I was. Excellent shot! 9/8/2010 5:17:33 AM You were waaaay closer than this old bot was ever going to get to a moving train!! Really like the strong colors and clarity of the train against the softness of the background colors. Very well done!! Like the new mini pic. That's the Bill Raco I know.:) 9/8/2010 8:42:16 AM Trains (and other rapidly moving objects) look closer, particularly if you're on the same tracks. So glad you're nimble, Bill. Seriously, this is one beautiful shot. I don't often think of trains when I think of Pittsburgh, but you captured this beautifully. Love it. Hey, it could have been worse. You could have been hanging out of the incline car as it was going down the hill. Now, there's a thought!!!!!!

This is beautifully done, Bill, with wonderful color coordination with the buildings! Just a side note: I was standing on the station platform yesterday morning when a huge freight train ROARED by and shook me from stem to stern. Made me shudder to think that people like to have their pictures taken sitting on the tracks!

This is a really neat shot, Bill. Great angle and background for the train. I understand very well about the warning need. I got caught on the other side of the tracks and was pretty startled at how close I was to the train there (and, I might add, by the yucky background anything I shot has from that side).
