Lovely desert image Patricia! I love the soft hues and silhouettes of the cactus and brush. The crescent moon add the perfect touch. How long an exposure did you use?

Thank you, Dee....here's where those filters I was talking about can be applied. First the exposure was .8 @ f11; auto exposure; iso 100, 75 mm focal length using a 75-300 mm lens, metering was partial, mode....the original is quite different as this was processed in Lewis' class using a Cooling Filter (LBB) at 45% density in CS4....I'll send you the reduced PS file so you can see the original....truly amazing...as I also mentioned...it may prevent me from carrying all my glass filters in the field....but I still don't think the polarizing filter will be left at home!
