I wanted someting very simple, blue on white, so took a glass and white board and placed it on the cement floor in the carport. Had to wait a number of times until the clouds moved and when the sun gave me the shadow I wanted, voila! I tried it with combinations of glasses, but that got cluttered. The inside of the glass is very dark, there is a color band on the stem and most of the color bands on the glass' shadow is diminished. Thanks again everyone, Aloha, Stan

Hi, Linnea ... Have been working with glass and shadows for a while to try something different, and this is not the first time I have tried this particular layout and lighting, though it is the first time I took the sun to be my lighting assistant :-)! Then I wanted kept simple; used a blue wine glass, placed it on a white board, readjusted the tripod so the center leg was horizontal and started shooting. This is the result!
