I agree with Becky...nostalgic feel was the word that came to mind. This capture is perfect for b/w - all the textures in the wonderfully aged wood, the fine light, the tones - perfect. My grandfather had such a shed and a shovel very similar to this one for the same purpose...not a job I welcomed when I visited over the summers! :)

Really nice use of texture, form, and composition, Nikki, with the interest gained from the horizontal boards paired with the vertical shovel. Especially pleasing here is the modeling of the forms because of the side light and the shadows produced because of it.
