Tall Ship
A three masted schooner sails out of Toronto Harbour. Fourteen of the tall ships left yesterday for Cleveland, the next destination in their race/tour of the Great Lakes.

This is a truly spectacular capture, as Moby Dick is playing on the TV in front of me! Double sails for me!

Call me Ishmael. :) There is a power and romanticism in these ships that is compelling. You got me to thinking of Moby Dick and its powerful story and language, Michelle. Here is a quote that fits this scene:

". . . these are the times of dreamy quietude, when beholding the tranquil beauty and brilliancy of the ocean's skin, one forgets the tiger heart that pants beneath it; and would not willingly remember, that this velvet paw but conceals a remorseless fang."

Thank you all for your fine comments.
Steve

Another view. Note the men on the forward mast. High flying! :)
