Pax #2

The making of 'Pax #2':
No candid capers at the Crèma and no surf action on this wild 'n' wet day so I headed down the coast to my favourite backwater hoping for some good waterscapes.
Mother Nature smiled on me and I was not disappointed to find an Egret nearby at the water's edge and then this Pelican alone in a marvelous stormy weather waterscape.
Enjoy!

Hello Dennis: I really like to be out on those kinds of days. There is something supercharged about the air and the sight. It also sets a mood that you have captured.
I especially like the crisp water and a cloudy skyline, the two textures go very well together. Congratulations on another great piece of art.

Stunning shot, the B&W makes it feel as though I am there waiting for the storm. (Hope the pelican took cover!!!)

  Yowza *DAWN*!

So nice to see you along the Lake Cathie shore soaking up the scenery.
Maaaaany thanks indeedy for your inspirational and supportive "Stunning..." wrap for my mono waterscape.

Oh Mr Pelican was OK. He drifted around for a while doing a bit of scooping then flew off to a more sheltered position. I flew off to my car. 8-)

  Good morning, Dennis.
The power and beauty of a storm has been magically captured here. The lighting in the distant is lovely to see, as is the dramatic sky/clouds. You have created an wonderful 3-d world here.
Thanks for sharing,
Carla

  Yes Ma'am *CARLA*!

Welcome back to my favourite backweater on such a stormy day.
Thank you heaps for your very insightful and motivating feedback on my B&W waterscape.
(It's a shame the Editor did not think so highly of it as it has received a lot of praise both here and with my camera club so far. Oh well I will resubmit at a lateer date).
