I agree with your sentiments, Tony! We seem to be locked out of so many areas now, yet the vandals have full rein to decimate the beauty so many times. Great capture! Phil

It's funny how a lot don't seem to see the sense in council thinking. I'm pleased to show you what we are like around here. John, I'll be able to show you this very place when you come up next.

Oh dear, Tony - like Phil and John, I also totally agree with what you said above!! ;o/ Sometimes it's just that not enough of us are 'allowed' to use these 'supposedly' public areas...and then other times it's that these picnic areas are located in too isolated a position... Sadly, that just makes them 'ripe pickings' for the drunk and/or disorderly and/or vandalistic types within our midst...or those visiting our areas!! :o( It's patently obvious what the people who vandalised this sign thought of the council's rules - pretty much your title here, Tony!! :o( Superb capture of this sad scene!! :o)

It's a real shame when things of beauty are marred/disrupted by the pinheads who make up the vandal population... whatever happened to courtesy and respect? Sigh. Tony, B&W was the perfect choice for this capture. It creates a somber mood, and no doubt you felt that way when you saw this sign.

Thanks Mary. It amazes me how much vandalising there is around the place. It also amazes me how pointless most of the council signs are.
