Hi Bobby...thanks so much for kind words....this is actually a Night Blooming Cereus & not so rare - the plant is giving off many blooms in the front of my home right now....I know of the Queen of the Night....it is rare & have not seen one in bloom, but I know there is one remaining in the White Tank Park which a couple of hikers promised to show me one day....Thanks again & have a wonderful evening! Cheers

One of my favorite cactus blooms, beautifully captured! Not only do I hope you get to see the "Queen of the night" but smell the aroma too.

Thank you so much for your kind words Michelle, Sabrina, Monica & Liz....I'm very fortunate to live in Arizona where once a year the cactus at our house bloom. When we moved here we planted only desert fauna to minimize water usage...we get rewarded with these magnificent flowers....and yes the aroma is amazing...I only wish the flowers would last for more than one day...but then again that is their life cycle.....Thanks again & have a wonderful day! Cheers
