You got that one right, Tony! I don't think the plane or depth of focus could be any better. You caught it at just the right time so there is even a sense of action. Was this a tripod shot? Did you have it set up? Or was it hand held? What lens did you have? What is its magnification ratio?

Stephen, I got this with my Sigma 105mm macro and an extension tube. Handheld in full mid-morning sun with my ringlight adapter. The bright sun allowed for fast shutter speed and the flash filled in the shadow. I also splurged recently and upgraded to a full frame body. Its incredible how much I can crop and still retain the detail and resolution. This is a closer crop of the same shot but flipped.
