I currently shoot with a Canon Rebel ti and Canon 85mm f1.8 lens. I am wanting to know what kind of lens I need to shoot those adorable shots of hands, eyes, feet, etc., for both adults and kids. Also, some info on lighting these would be helpful as well. Thanks!!

Any lens with a macro setting or a long fixed or zoom lens (180mm plus) will work. I like to use ambient light best for these, so I can shoot from every angle with impunity.
