Yes, a real person (posing as a statue) and a real butterfly. Taken at a butterfly exhibit at Branson.

Are you kidding!!? This is amazing. I'd like to hear more of the story. What a beautiful capture. The posing statue alone would have made a wonderful photo, but then you get the most perfect butterfly of all those that must have been around at a butterfly exhibit, and you have it land in the most perfect spot and open its wings for the most perfect photo. Right place at right time is only part of the pleasure, Mitch. The best part of the whole thing is that the camera was in YOUR hands.

I am with Marty -- and Rony. This is incredible, Mitch. Wonderful in every way. If it does not go on, it will be because someone did not look -- and read -- closely enough. Making it a favorite right now.

Thanks so much, Tammy, Sherran, Tammy, Marty, Jeff, Rony, Nikki, Liz, Peaches, and Kathy. I don't know how people manage to pose like this, holding so still. I was there long enough to see that she did move every ten minutes or so, but when she did, it was very slowly and was rather startling in itself because it seemed as though a statue was slowly coming to life.
