Situated at an altitude of 15,300 ft. Yumesamdong is very close to the Chinese border. An hours drive beyond Yumthang (26 kms), Yumesamdong is the land of perennial snow. The journey from Yumthang trudges up through the rugged mountain road to Yumesamdong, an area where the sweet fragrance of Ezilia permeates the air. Ezilia is a plant used by the locals as incense.
