Thank you Colette and Isabel for your encouraging comments. Isabel, there is a general guideline, wrongly called a rule, which says that the maximum visual impact in a picture is created if you place the important subject on one of the four intrsections of the two vertical and two horizontal imaginary lines in your viewfinder. These lines divide the picture area into nine sections.
