Josie, Thanks for the comments on my photo. I love your gallery. This image resonates with me for a lot of reasons. You have framed the image perfectly. My dad, who passed away a few years ago, grew up in northeastern Montana on a farm. He was a watercolor artist who could draw farm scenes like this with old, decrepit machinery, all from his memory. Your near-far composition is very strongly crafted. The intersecting lines of the field and hills is exactly where the alignment of the wheels leads the eye. The colors all work really well in the structure of the image. The green of the grass between the wheels is the combo of the field and sky. The hills are another blend. And the clouds are the frosting on this little cake! I love clouds, too. Great work. Isn't this a blast. We can all be artists. Yours, Rick

Thanks for the wonderful comment on this photo, Rick!! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes, I love clouds, and love it when they are around when shooting photos outside! That's why your photo caught my eye. It is my kind of scene! It was interesting to hear about your father and how artistic he was. Bet his drawings are special to you!!
