Well you've really got me going this month, Mitch, with all these lovely entries. Couldn't decide actually so I said to myself, "Which one would I most enjoy having printed and framed in a room in my home?" and this one answered that question. I love the nostalgic mood the subject, tones and lighting evoke and the composition is spot on. I can see it in a bedroom or bath, of course, but equally well in an entry or dining room. Others I seriously considered include "Sorrow" and "Coquette" (I do have a thing about character study portraits like these); "Turning Point" (I think Katarina is right and this is a definite winner for you); "Basking" (great details, light, colors and especially expression); and "Formality" (this is the other one that I could really enjoy having in my home). Good luck.
