Thanks for the comment Janice! yeah I seriously believe he is in a state of reflection, as he seems to look all the time in the mirror. I believe he is reflecting on his emotional opening up, and that open window is a symbolic motif. However, I cannot emphasize the too powerful state of reflection this James is truly in.

yes danny..the open window is a symbolic motif!but take a look at the contrast between darkness and light. this is also symbolic of james' reflection, the conflicting views he faces during his reflection.
we should seek a professional's opinion on this picture!!

I think I have to agree with Fairina. what is James going to say? But, he shouldn't object, it is a beautiful shot of him! And, he should know that you were taking the photo right? Anyway, great photo Danny.

This photo possesses some exquisite beauty Daniel that is unsuited for words. At the same time there is a sense of emotional instability emanating from the subject 'James' as his gaze into the window seems like he is acknowledging his subconscious bed of needles that lie within his heart. I believe the juxtaposition of 'James' and the window is supposed to imply some sort of carthatic ritual in which the subject can let riot his smothered emotions. I wonder out of curiosity whether the subject has experienced any emotional trauma before that would have led to this fixation on reflecting. Nevertheless, an excellent and truly insightful picture Daniel, well done.

After further analysing the content of you picture Daniel, I have devised a startling thesis regarding the subject 'James.' The disturbing narcissism with which he practises may not reflect an emotional carthatic ritual, it is perhaps more of a manifestation of a boy's rite of passage into manhood. To blossom into a true man, the subject seeks to find an emotinal outlet in his reflection in the window. Yet his mind seems distant, as though he were thinking of someone special...You picture fascinates me Daniel, the more I look at it, the more intrigued I become.

what can I say? james is picture perfect, so much this should be made into a poster to advertise for topshop. his poise suggests he's been taking sound advice from 'a queer eye for a straight guy'. whats next in line for the future face of topshop? perhaps nivea would be interested, there is great potential in his rich complexion brought out by this ponderous pose -but yet something is missing from the photo.., something that would allow it to transcend the barriers of the materialistic world into a universal image of great power. perhaps a greater emphasis should be placed on what james sees beyond the window. what he sees is not the barren countryside, nor solely his own reflection, but a glimpse into a happy future, with his other half and their many kids wearing aston villa jerseys.

  people!!!

i have read these comments. AND guess what its not FUNNY!!!!!

i did not know that my photo was being taken when I was looking outside.
ALSO if you look closely atm y eyes the from line of vision I cannot see my own reflection from that angle. I would have to look at the window face on to see my own reflection.
This indicates that I was looking beyond the window.
Hell its better than looking at peelface danny.

This just shows how sad and mundane his life is and this one of the ways dan spends his free time besides playing computer games and having phone sex with sniffy.
Next time I see your camera I will break the damn thing.
And the people who wrote comments!!!
OIIII this just gives dan more confidence and makes him want to engage in further stupid acts.

TONY- we all know who loves his own reflection the most.
SNIFFY- U suck if this happened to you. you would run home to your mum.
DAN- YOU arrogant SWINE!First the picture of my room, then now this??

Next time I see you you better not have that camera with you!!
WHATEVER you do dan you will always be a Failure in my eyes.

AND THE REST OF YOU! shame on you!

I WILL REMEMBER THIS FOR A LONG TIME!!!
I EXPECT APOLOGIES SOON!!
LETS JUST IMAGINE WHAT THIS FEELS LIKE FOR ME!! THE VICTIM.

AND HANES!! WHAT ABOUT MY ACCENT???
AT LEAST I CAN SPEAK WITHOUT PUTTING AN S ON THE END OF EVERY WORD!!

Reflection does not neccesarrily mean looking at oneself, although that is what james clearly thinks since he does it alot, but it means " a calm lengthy intent consideration ". (this is so fun) on what u may ask? well, that can only be found in james nivea tanned forehead. I wish I can put a comment as long as james, but im tired. And computer games are fun.

  people!!

this is dan's new project!!
make the comments really spicey!!
it helps dan when he's pleasuring himself in front of the screen!.
your comments of praise make hime feel in control and terribly powerful.
For the whole 10 seconds it take it makes him feel the man that in reality he is not.

PPL do it for dan!!

OMG...Jamezy is getting rlly furious about this...yeah I was wondering also why this picture suddenly becomes the talk of the town :D...come on guys, we all love jamezy dont we? Give him a break...btw James, u made the funniest comment for every1, especially towards sniffy (u know, the part when he probably run to his mom and start crying HAHAHA!!!) hey, its not my fault to speak with bad grammar...even when I did speak with adding s on the end of every word, it was not deliberate. Its like Jamezy trying to speak in Melayu (which I think would probably end up worse :D :D :D)...by the way, since this picture is the only medium that I can use to communicate with u James, I wanna ask when u ever coming back to sg and Danny as well

This is incredible, the subject 'James' is now responding to his photo with an outburst of his smothered emotions. It seems in hindsight that after calmly admiring his reflection in the window, 'James' is furious to realise that other people have latched onto his dirty little secret. Yet what the subject 'James' does not realise, which is an awful pity, is that these comments are specifically geared to help him. Firstly, they have been nothing short of complimentary (the new face of Top Shop, strong complexion for Nivea Lotion, his 'other half') and so they are intended to encourage him to believe in himself and to believe in his emotions which may lead him happily to his 'other half.' The outburst of emotions was expected I suppose, but it would have been better if it had been an outburst of positive emotions such as love. On the other hand, given the nature of 'James,' one might conclude that those words of 'fury' actually represented 'James'' way of expressing his love for everybody who commented and who gave him attention. I am glad this has helped you James.

Could anyone wishing to put up comments in the photo please use it as it was intended to be? Feedback and analysis on the photograph itself and its focused subject, please! It is a photography website not a hate website. Nevertheless, several comments are suitable in that it may help the subject. Kai's comment is fine as it may fulfill some of the subject's needs and problems, leading to perhaps a fresh and exciting photograph. Thank you and please treat the photograph with respect.
