It is one shot taken at the Christmas Zoo Lights in Tacoma, Washington. The camera was on a tripod. I set it to 4-8 seconds. I then zoomed from wide to small trying to go slowly enough to use up the entire amount of time. It was very fun to do-almost as much fun as trying to take pictures of multicolored lights in the shapes of zoo animals-ok, so it was really more fun as the outcomes were always somewhat of a surprise.
