	Maa... Caaw! Original shot of Macaw at Lion Country Safari in W. Palm Beach, Fla. Spot metered in Ap prio mode, f5.7 @ 1/28 sec, fl47mm ISO-125. Orig shot perfect, except head of parrot out of focus. Applied fresco and black shimmer filters to salvage shot. Critique welcomed! Norman P. Banks

During the shot the bird moved its head slightly which at 1/5.7 sec was enough to put it just out of focus. No matter what I did, it still did not look right! (frown)

Correction Dale Ann. The shutter speed was 1/28 sec. (lop sided grin)

I felt that I had to do something with this pic. The colors were so viberant and the birds tail & tree trunk made a perfect inverted V.
