What the Hell has happened here

What the Hell has happened here
These 4 Plovers have lived across the road on a mowed vacant block for years, now there is a house there & they don't seem all that happy. Last week they were out screaming out in the yard, they threw the people's shoes around, they were so funny to watch. I also have them in my gallery under Left right, left right. Lens aperture F/3.2, shutter speed 1/119sec, focal length 31mm.

Thanks for your comments here, I didn't want to get to close in fear of frightening them away. Hopefully the link below will take you to Phil Connoly's Plover up close.

  Feathered Protesters! I love it!!!

COOL! I'd be mad, too, if I were them. It was their land first!

And who says Birds don't have a voice in things?

GOOD FOR THEM! I hope they drive those SQUATTING humans away!

Thank you all for your great comments. The Plovers are lucky as this house is only a week-end, so they get to use the yard all week.
