Aloha Merna, I LOVE all these car shots, but this is just stunning! And my favorite car color of all time, so I had to comment here.

Wow - another great image. Love the setting. Reminds me of the good old days when my dad would drive us places.

Hi Robert: I am trying to learn how to use backdrops and layering. I need to do more of it, just cannot find the backdrops that I like. Thank you for looking at my gallery. Merna

Merna, If I may, what do you mean by backdrops? Are you alking about cloning an image into a BG of your choosing? Or maybe uswe of layers and erasing some of the scene? Please let me know. I am still very new to PSE despite some of the great effects I have gotten. I have not venture much into the cloning into a scene or masking. Actually, I do not think I can maske with PSE8. Thanks

Hi John: I went on line to a company called: REFLEKZ, called scenic digital backgrounds. It is a DVD. It has many scenic photos to choose from. You buy it (I don’t member the price) and then choose the back drop that would fit your photo the best. Some adjustment is always necessary. And then you layer your selected image into the backdrop. I remember that we had to fix some reflections that were in the wrong place, but if the fit is good, that is cut to a minimum. If you can think of anything else, please ask and I will try to help you as much as I can. I purchased the remask program from Topaz which was easy to learn, But like anything else, if you don’t use it once in a while it is like starting over. Now…for my question, how did you put the before and after image up together? I should also tell you, that I have been preparing my photos of our cars to make a 2011 calendar. Sincerely, Merna

This has been one of my favorites since I looked at your album. You do layers so well. You should sell your calendar. Such excellent work.
