Thanks, y'all! I agree, Tammy -- interestingly, the reason I have the XTi is that Jack got an XSi as an early Christmas present and I inherited the XTi (plus I got a Kindle book reader as my real present, so I'm doubly filled with holiday cheer)! We bought these things early figuring the supply might run short closer to Christmas. Jack tried out his XSi yesterday too and says he's very happy with it, too!

Beautiful color, great detail, Monnie. I've had an XTi for about 3 years, I got an XSi last year to carry with it, so I wouldn't have to change lenses. I think the XTi actually produces better images, but I like the larger easy to read LCD & location of controls the XSi.

Sorry, Ron -- it's a Canon SLR that came out maybe 3 years ago or so. The XSi Jack just got is newer but not the latest incarnation. I think between us we have 6 different Canon cameras, including the 2 SLRs. I just sold our original EOS Digital Rebel SLR, which was the one I used to use with my macro lens before the XTi dropped in my lap.
