Wild Poppies


	Wild Poppies As I'm photographing these delicate flowers I am not so delicate. My camera is on the ground and my face is in the dirt. This was taken on a morning as I was on my way to Death Valley a few years back. The poppies in the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve wake up pretty late and don't fully open until a few hours after sunrise. If the El Nino weather pattern is in effect this season the poppies should be great this spring in 2010. Already looking foward to it now. Steve M. Sieren
