Dear Friends I'd like to say something about winning the Grand Prize which is certainly a great honour to me. First of all, thank you so much for the support & encouragement since I joined you guys about two months ago to post my photographic studies here. Also, I'd like to send my special thanks to my most respected friend & an excellent photographer - the amazing lady Carolyn Fletcher. She is an excellent photographer, I'm sure you all agree! Secondly, I never imaged I would receive the great honour of being the Grand Prize winner! I've asked myself many times: do you deserve this? My back is sweating because we have so many great photographers on this site with highly impressive pictures here in the October selection. Thirdly, I'm thinking about this now: If I can achieve this with one of my photographs, you can too! My photographic experience is less than 12 months & I'm a very busy family man. All those pictures were taken in times like my lunchtime, after work & during weekends. My belief is: you can find a beautiful picture almost anywhere if you have right lighting & good composition. A lot of people say I have very good eye, I agree with that. I'm always trying to find a good picture to compose when I am looking around for ideas. But like I said, if I can then you certainly can, too! Lastly, I know where I am in terms of making good quality photos. My photographic skills are still being improved on & I have a lot of hard work to do to get there. Without your help & support, I certainly wouldn't have come this far - it is a part of my life now. Thanks again to betterphoto.com, to Mr. Jim Miotke, to Carolyn F. & to all of you - my great friends & fellow photographers. Sorry for my poor English (much worse than my photography).
