	Indian Mound Sunrise Sautee Nachoochee Valley Indian Mound: This is an exciting subject to many. It is one of the most recognized landmarks in Georgia. Emory Jones of White County, Georgia has a new book called "Distant Voices" about the history of the Indian Mound, its builders, the people who influenced the mound's existence, and the people who are still today influenced by the indian mound and gazebo. "Distant Voices" also features works of Artists and photographers in north Georgia who paint and photograph the beauties of this area. In the book Mr. Jones skillfully weaves the strong emotional ties of area residents by featuring not only interviews by family members associated with the indian mound history, but also local artists and photographers. I am honored to have some of my photographs in "Distant Voices". A warming filter was used to enhance the sunrise. Charles W. Stephens
