Jeff- This is one of those sights that are both eerie and beautiful at the same time. I love both versions and while I am a big fan of black and white, I must admit I loved the blue toned one a bit better. The glow of the light is gorgeous, the combination of water and snowy ice along with the rock formation is so beautiful and breathtaking. Fantastic camera work with outstanding compositon, a rare beauty my friend.
Have yourself a fabulous weekend, enjoy the holidays, be safe.

An imposing sight, Jeff. I didn't get to see this when I was there and wish I had. I like both images, but I think I prefer the color version. There's something about the blue tones of the ice in Alaska that adds that just right feeling of chill.

WOW! What a strange feeling the B&W gave me...like being closed in...but I really like it a lot. Both of them, Jeff. They have a wonderful drama about them. Mystique...Like I want to be there but am glad I am not.

Did I explain that very well? Humm...

Very National Geographic anyway. GREAT JOB!
